Billy Bob Blackwood
Mr. Billy Bob Blackwood, 80, of De Queen died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at his home.
He was born Nov. 7, 1936, in Murfreesboro. He served in the De Queen School System for 55 years and as Superintendent for 30 years. He was also a member of the De Queen Lions Club and First United Methodist Church in De Queen and served on numerous boards.
Funeral services were held June 17 at the First United Methodist Church in De Queen with Rev. Mark Cloninger officiating. Burial followed in Redmen Cemetery.

Mrs. Gloria L. Hadley
Mrs. Gloria Lee Dougharty Hadley, 84, of Eagletown, Okla. died Thursday, June 15, 2017, in Texarkana, Tex.
She was born Feb. 12, 1933, in Hood River, Ore. She was a retired X-ray technician, a member of the First Methodist Church in Eagletown and a member of the Cossatot Arts and Crafts Association.
Graveside funeral services were held June 19 in the Eagletown Cemetery Pavilion with Cy Davis officiating.

Michael Wayne Ray, 64, of De Queen died Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Texarkana, Tex.
He was born June 10, 1953 in De Queen. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Colorado.
Graveside funeral service was held June 20 in Clear Creek Cemetery with John Gutierres officiating.

He was born June 25, 1929 in El Dorado. He was a carpenter and a member of the Beacon Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mrs. Cynthia "Cindy" Dean Allen Stubbs, 60, of De Queen died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Bear Creek Healthcare in De Queen.
She was born in Birmingham, Ala., on Dec. 18, 1956 to Walter Julian and Nellie Dean Dill Allen. She worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant.

Raymond P. Gallaher, Jr., 83, of Lockesburg, died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at De Queen Medical Center.
He was born April 11, 1934 in Lockesburg. He was retired from the United States Navy and a former employee of Weyerhaeuser and Nekoosa-Edwards.
Funeral services were held June 11 at the First Baptist Church in Lockesburg with Dr. David Blase officiating. Burial followed in the Lockesburg Cemetery.

Mrs. Gwendolyn Wallis McClung, 70, of Grannis, died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at her home.
She was born Sept. 27, 1946 in Houston, Tex., to Milton and Lois Wallis. She was a homemaker, a former USDA Inspector and attended Wickes First Baptist Church.

He was born to Benjamin Franklin and Clara Lucille Brown Emmerick in Evening Shade on Jan. 3, 1931. He was a rancher and a mechanic. He attended the First Assembly of God in Horatio.

She was born Aug. 14, 1922 in Athens. She was a beautician and co-owner of The Beauty Shop in Lockesburg. She was a member of the Old Union Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Marie Smith Oglesby, 94, of King Ryder community near Crossroads, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in a local hospital. She was a resident of Little River Nursing and Rehab in Ashdown for seven years.
She was born Feb. 22, 1923 in Arkinda to Willie P. and Mary Barton Smith. She was a homemaker, a retired grocer and a member of the King Ryder Church of Christ.

Wayne Dingler
Wayne Dingler, of North Little Rock and formerly of Mena, died Thursday, May 25, 2017.
He was born in Hopper on Dec. 12, 1928 to Elmer and Velda Dingler. After graduating from De Queen High School he became a licensed pharmacist in 1954, graduating from the University of Oklahoma. He was owner of Dingler Drug Store in Mena. He was also the owner of Mena Tobacco and Vending until his retirement. He was an alderman in Mena and was named Citizen of the Year by the Mena Elks Lodge in 1967. He was on the Board of Directors of First National Bank from 1979 to 2014.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

Creal Edward Gilmore, 67, of De Queen and formerly of Idabel, Okla., died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at his home.
He was born to Hubert Lee and Agnes Nelson Gilmore in De Queen on June 5, 1949. He was a deliveryman.
