He was born June 3, 1942 in Prescott. He was retired from Delta Airlines and also a carpenter.

Angelina Hernandez
Mrs. Angelina Aguilar Hernandez, 58, of De Queen died Monday, Aug. 7, 2017 in the De Queen Medical Center.
She was born in Calantulario, Mexico on July 20, 1959 to Tomas Aguilar and Raymunda Veron Benitez. She was a Tyson Food employee in Broken Bow, Okla and a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass was held Aug. 12 in St. Barbara Catholic Church with Father Juan Manjarrez officiating. Burial followed in Redmen Cemetery.

Reuben Beck
Reuben Walter Beck, 62, of De Queen died Monday, Aug. 7, 2017 in a Houston, Texas hospital.
He was born to Raymond Walter and Marie McKee Beck in De Queen on Nov. 16, 1954. He served in the military with the U.S. Navy and was a postal rural mail carrier. He was a member of the Williamson Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were held Aug. 15 in the Williamson Community Church, Horatio, with Rev. Jimmy Roden officiating. Burial with military rites followed in Mt. Ida Cemetery.

Fred Wilkerson, Jr.
Fred “B. Bud” Wilkerson, Jr., 91, of De Queen died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017 in De Queen.
He was born Oct. 20, 1925 in Ft. Smith. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of De Queen and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He attended the University of Arkansas and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.
He graduated from Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1945 and went on to own and operate Wilkerson Funeral Home with his family. He was the 1997 recipient of the Arkansas Funeral Director of the Year award.
Funeral services were held Aug. 14 in the First United Methodist Church with Bro. Mark Cloninger and Bro. Jason Carlton officiating. Burial followed in the Redmen Cemetery.

Mrs. Magel Dean Cannon House, 87, of De Queen died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 in Texarkana, Tex.
She was born Nov. 29, 1929 in De Queen. She was a homemaker and attended Geneva Missionary Baptist Church.

Lottie Bishop Overton, 100, of De Queen, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 in De Queen.
She was born in Muskogee, Okla., on Sept. 10, 1916 to Clarence Bishop and Florence Northcutt Bishop. She was a member of the De Queen Methodist Church.
Graveside service was held Aug. 5 at Pinecrest Memorial Park under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.

Bobby Ray Bell, 62, of De Queen, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 at his home.
He was born Oct. 6, 1954 in Mena.

Mrs. Frances Evelyn Kerr Smith, 68, of Gillham, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 in Dallas, Tex.
She was born April 23, 1949 in De Queen. She drove a school bus, was a mail carrier, worked at Walmart for over 30 years and attended Almond Church.

Ms. Rebeca Ruvalcaba, 69, of De Queen, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017 in Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana.
She was born to Leovijildo Ruvalcaba and Refugio Romero in Tlaltenango, Zacatecas, Mexico on Aug. 17, 1947. She was a seamstress, had worked for Pilgrim and Beard Poulan and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church.

He was born Feb. 21, 1932, in Dierks. He worked in AD&M Oil Mill for over 30 years.

He was born to Roy and Martha Mahala Rackley Manns in Russellville on Feb. 10, 1939. He was plant manager for Pilgrim's Pride, retiring after 32 years service.

Mary Lynn Ross, age 84, of Spiro, Okla. died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at her home.
She was born on Oct. 21, 1932 in Gillham to Oscar and Ethel (McBroom) Clayborn. She retired from Spiro Public Schools and was a member of the Spiro First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hazel L. Burris-Walker, 97, of De Queen, formerly of Horatio and Broken Bow, Okla., died Monday, July 10, 2017 in Bear Creek Healthcare, De Queen.
She was born to Albert and Janie Bass-Burris in Sevier County on Sept. 25, 1919. She was a Christian and attended St. John Baptist Church in Broken Bow, Okla. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Washington officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Burial will follow in the Sunset Acres, Horatio.

She was born July 30, 1944 in Union, to Jesse Ray Copeland and Ruth Franks Copeland. She graduated from Salem High School in 1962. She earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She worked as an educator for over 30 years.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Siloam Springs.
Funeral services were held July 14 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with Pastor Grant Barnett officiating. Burial followed at Dickson Cemetery in Cherokee City.

He was born to William Henry and Glow Dell McIntyre Bradshaw in De Queen on Dec. 9, 1955. He was a 1973 graduate of Lockesburg High School and a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. He was supervisor of a pipe line welding crew and later worked in heavy construction.
