Mrs. Lovena Roberta Gilbert, 86, of Dierks, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 in Little Rock.
She was born April 13, 1930 in Newhope. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Nov. 23 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks with Calvin Parker and J.W. Gilbert officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Richard Lee Hill, 61, of De Queen, died Tuesday Nov. 22, 2016 in the De Queen Medical Center.
He was born to R.C. and Dixie Ray Waldon Hill in De Queen on Sept. 3, 1955. He was self-employed in grounds and landscaping. He attended Lewis Temple Church of God in Christ.
Funeral services were held Nov. 27 in the Lewis Temple Church of God in Christ with Rev. E.A. Edwards officiating. Burial followed in the Sand Hill Cemetery.

Glenda F. Chandler
Glenda Faye Kesterson Chandler, 67, of Dierks, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 in Nashville after a courageous battle with ALS.
She was born April 26, 1949 in De Queen. She was a retired cafeteria worker with JoAnn Walters Elementary School for 37 years and a member of the Westside Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Nov. 27 at Westside Church of Christ with Robert Peek and Jerry Mounts officiating. Burial followed in the Fellowship Cemetery.

Roy L. Forrest, Sr.
Roy Lynn Forrest, Sr., 59, of Winthrop, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 in Little River County.
He was born July 19, 1957 in De Queen. He was a logger and a member of the Winthrop Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Nov. 28 in the Winthrop Baptist Church with Audie Dawson officiating. Burial followed in Campground Cemetery.

Mrs. Betty Dean Sanders Heath, 86, of Foreman, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 in Ashdown.
She was born Aug. 8, 1930 in Foreman. She was a homemaker and a member of Lighthouse Ministries in Forrest City.

Joseph Fuller
Joseph Fuller, 80, of Gillham, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 at his home.
He was born to Ernest F. and Clara Wolberton Fuller in Flint, Mich., on Feb. 18, 1936. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a retired aviation and auto mechanic.

Odis A. Bush
Odis Allan Bush, 82, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016. Odis, the youngest child of the late Richard and Pearl Bush, was born Feb. 6, 1934, in Sedan, New Mexico. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was a retired truck driver, fleet owner and farmer.
A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Teddy Frye, will be held at Cedar Vale Funeral Home in Hot Springs Village at 10 a.m., Saturday Dec. 3.

Carlos Joe Smith, age 63, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas.
He was born in Ashdown on Jan. 27, 1953 to Rufus Roland Smith and Catie Lee Muriel Scott Smith.
He was a farmer, a supervisor at Cadence Environmental Industries, a former off-shore welder in Grand Isle, LA., a teacher at New Boston Middle School, a teacher at Saratoga High School and a professor at the Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas.
He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Crossroads where a celebration of life was held Nov. 19 with the Rev. Audie Dawson officiating.
