Mr. and Mrs. V. Ray Wilson of De Queen announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah Michelle Wilson, to Patrick Wayne Hanson of De Queen.

Leah is a 2002 graduate from De Queen High School, a 2006 graduate from Evangel University with a degree in Criminal Justice, and a 2010 graduate from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology with a degree in Counseling Psychology, both in Springfield, Mo. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and works for Chenal Family Therapy at Dr. Randy Walker’s medical practice in De Queen.

Patrick is the son of Janice Oswald and step-son of Robin Oswald, both of De Queen and the late Dannie Hanson of Texarkana. 

He obtained his GED in 2013 from the Adult Education Center in Idabel, Okla. 

He is currently employed at TJ’s Convenience Store and plans on obtaining employment with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department.

The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. at De Queen First Assembly. It will be co-officiated by their pastor, Ray Reynolds and cousin of the bride, Jeff Baldwin. 

The couple plan to honeymoon in Eureka Springs and Branson, Mo. and will continue to reside in De Queen.
