De Queen Middle School has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school where students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire! The OEP creates an annual report entitled the Outstanding Educational Performance Awards where they recognize schools with high student academic growth. In an email, they said they think growth is the best indicator of the positive impact that the school is having on students. 

The school was recognized for High Overall Growth: Middle Level (Southwest Region)

De Queen Middle School also recently received an "A" rating on the 2019 Federal and State Accountability Report.

The Arkansas Department of Education’s Division of Elementary and Secondary Education released the 2019 federal and state accountability reports for public schools. The reports include data from the 2018-2019 school year, including 2019 ACT Aspire results.   

Each school’s state and federal accountability reports can be found on the My School Info webpage under the School Rating and Report Card tabs.
