Horatio Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, Nov.  9, in the high school cafeteria.  

FFA members and advisors, Nicki Litchford and Terry Maye were guests and presented a slide show of officers, activities they have participated in or plan to participate in, fundraisers and banquets.  

Zane Vanderpool, superintendent, presented the home basketball game procedures and went over the strategic financial plan.

 Gayla Youngblood, high school principal, and Curtis Black, elementary principal, gave building reports. 

The board opened and accepted seal bids on items that were advertised for sale. They approved resolution for choosing the date for the 2021 annual school election on May 18, 2021. The board also approved adding a custodial lane to the classified salary schedule, custodian job chart and job descriptions.

Monthly financial reports, bills, student enrollment and minutes were approved.
