A De Queen man, Rogelio Gomez-Santiago, 28, was arrested and charged with rape among numerous other charges after De Queen police received a report of a sexual assault on a 10-year-old child on Nov. 13.
According to Capt. Sonny Kimmel, Gomez-Santiago was charged with rape, computer exploitation of a child, sexual assault in the second degree, and distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexual conduct involving a child.
Gomez-Santiago appeared in court on Nov. 21 and his bond was set at $250,000. Police said the investigation is continuing.
