A De Queen woman, Jasmine Williams, 18, was arrested by De Queen police on a domestic battery 3rd degree class A misdemeanor on Sunday, Nov.
Sgt. Wayne Baker and Pfc. Kris Hundley were dispatched to 160 W. Locke in reference to a domestic incident and upon arrival, observed a black female in the front yard screaming who the officers knew to be Wiliams. After placing her in the patrol car, officers discovered a bottle of Paul Mason brandy that had fell from her pocket.
While speaking to Mikayla McCoy at the address, officers observed a bruised left eye as well as, red marks on both sides of her face that she said Williams had caused during the altercation. Williams was transported to the Sevier County Jail where she was also charged with being a minor in possession.
