On May 12, Sevier County Sheriff’s Sgt. Greg Davignon and Investigator Brian Hankins were dispatched to a residence in Horatio to take a residential burglary report. They were able to develop two potential suspects in the case identified as Jonathan Gonzalez, 20, and a 17-year-old juvenile female.
While working the residential burglary case, the deputies received numerous reports of several vehicles being entered that had property removed from them in the early morning hours of May 12.
Handguns, prescription medication and a blue tooth speaker were among the stone items from the thefts.
Gonzalez and the female were found in possession of four stolen handguns, prescription Hydrocodone and Xanax and a stolen blue tooth speaker.
The items were linked to six different breaking and entering reports and one residential burglary report.
All evidence in regard to this case has been turned over to prosecuting attorney Erin Hunter for review. Hunter will determine if and what charges will be filed on Gonzalez and the female involved. Gonzalez has since posted bond and the female is out on an ankle monitor.
