De Queen Health & Wellness vaccination pharmacists, Elee Colema n and Torrence Barber, when the first Pfizer vaccines were flown into the De Queen airport.

 

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson wrote a letter to the staff of  De Queen Health & Wellness Pharmacy, expressing gratitude for their efforts in vaccinating the community. 

“Thank you for your hard work to support COVID-19 vaccinations across our state,” the letter reads. “I am pro to know that Arkansas pharmacies like yours are working diligently to protect your neighbors and customers.” 

Hutchinson said the pharmacy was one of the top pharmacies for vaccinations in the southwest region.

“I would like to commend each of you for your efficiency, perseverance, and adaptability in our fight against COVID-19,” he wrote. 

Hutchinson said that De Queen Health & Wellness Pharmacy has vaccinated over 8,000 people and was demonstrating its care and concern for the community. 

“I want to personally thank each of you in your continued efforts to vaccinate Arkansas,” he wrote. “Keep up the good work.”
