On Thursday, March 7 Sevier County Deputy Greg Davignon was contacted by the FBI regarding a phone call they received from a gun dealer in California.

The FBI stated that some juveniles had made phone call to the gun dealer and they used an email linked to a Horatio school. Officers met with an employee of the school to attempt to locate a person connected to the email used during the phone call, but the attempt was unsuccessful. The FBI then notified the department back that they had tracked the IP address and a physical address.

Later on the night of March 7, the FBI, Sheriff Robert Gentry, Chief Deputy Chad Dowdle, Investigator Jeff Wahls and Sgt. Davignon went to several residences in the county to speak with several juveniles in regard to this incident.

The case file has been prepared and is being sent to the prosecuting attorney for review.
