The Sevier County Quorum Court took action on the following items at their May meeting held on May 11. 

• Request for an additional appropriation of $139 to 2019 Budget to Juvenile Probation Fee Fund 3031.0414.3094 meals & lodging (necessary to balance budget)

The vote was unanimous.

• Request for an additional appropriation of $299 to 2019 Budget to Law Library Fund 6009.0401.3102  computer software support & Maintenance (necessary to balance budget)

The vote was unanimous.

• Request to transfer funds $34,317 from Jail Operation & Maintenance Reserve Depreciation Fund 3404.0418.9999 transfer out; to Criminal Justice Fund 3017.0418.1002 Salaries full time - $11,017, 2001 supplies - $122, and 3006 Medical, dental, hospital - $23,178 for 2019 Budget (necessary to balance budget)

The vote was unanimous.

• Request to transfer $58,582 to RSAT from 3404 Jail Operation & Maintenance Reserve Depreciation Fund to RSAT 2019 Budget Line item breakdown as follows: 3503.0418.1001 salaries full time - $24,287; 1002 part time - $1352; 1005  overtime - $1826; 1006 social security match - $3107; 1007 retirement match - $6163; 1009 health insurance match - $7564; 1016 life insurance - $133; 2001 supplies - $3173; 2006 clothing and uniforms - $345; 3006 medical, dental, hospital - $9607; 3054 other sundry insurance - $593’ 3094 meals & lodging - $535. (necessary to balance budget)

•Proposed Ordinance to make final amendment to the 2019 Sevier County Operating Budget.

The vote was unanimous.

• Request for an additional appropriation to the 2020 budget for County General Reserve, Airport department – of $70,000 to line 1001.0900.9999; left out of original budget. Judge Greg Ray said that the county will get the money back from the state aeronautics. 

The vote was unanimous.

• Request to re-activate fund 3405 – Disaster Recovery Fund and rename 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic. This will be for expenditures directly related to COVID-19. This fund would run in the negative till such time as deemed necessary to appropriate specific funds.

The vote was unanimous.

• Request to transfer within Road Fund budget for 2020. $1600 from supplies line 2001 to Clothing line 2006 for rain/safety jackets.

The vote was unanimous.

• Request to transfer within Solid Waste fund budget for 2020. $400 from line 2001 supplies to line 2006 clothing for rain/safety jackets.

The vote was unanimous.

• Request for a transfer within the 2020 Road budget, $12,000 from line 4005 vehicles to line 4004 machinery & equipment to cover sales tax for tractor and boom hog.

The vote was unanimous.

• Request for an additional $47,76.00 to RSAT Fund 3503, line 0418.4004 Capital Outlay. This is for 4 I-Pads and cases. The vote was unanimous.
