The Sevier County Quorum Court will meet for their regular meeting at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 11. 

The court will hear a presentation by Sheila Cox regarding the issue of dogs in the county. They will also hear from Joyce Short and Sheila Nash of the Sevier County Senior Citizen’s Center.

In new business, the court will consider an appointment of a Quorum Court delegate to the Arkansas Quorum Court Association; consider a request to transfer $13,000 within the County Road Department budget from  Capital Outlay-Machinery & Equipment to Capital Outlay-Improvements other than buildings to provide adequate funds for the replacement of two bridges on Bear Creek Cutoff Road.

Also on the agenda is a proposed resolution stating the Line of Succession for the Sevier County Sheriff; A request for an additional appropriation of $4,400 to the Jail 2019 Budget for the purchase of two de-humidifiers for A and E pods to address mold issue as well as to get bids for painting and sealing blocks on the interior and exterior walls of the building.

Finally the court will discuss uniform allowance for sheriff deputies and a request for an additional $4,340 to bring total to $9,900 for the 2019 sheriff budget.
