On July 16, Sevier County Sheriff Investigator Brian Hankins and Sgt. Greg Davignon were on patrol when they made contact with Camron D. Threadgill, 24, of De Queen, who had just been involved in an accident.

After further investigation, deputies found a loaded 9mm pistol, a clear plastic bag of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and 12 plastic bundles containing over 120 grams of suspected ecstasy pills.

Threadgill was placed into custody and then transported to the Sevier County Jail.

This report will be reviewed by Deputy Prosecutor Erin Hunter and at that time she will decide if Threadgill will be charged with possession of a Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 controlled substance that is not methamphetamine or cocaine with the purpose to deliver (Class A Felony) and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.
