Mrs. Elizabeth Kaye Wilburn Rowlett Vaughn, age 69, a resident of Horatio, died Tuesday, August 13, in Hot Springs.

She was born November 29, 1949 in Nashville. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Phoebia Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Frances Ross Wilburn; her husbands, Wray Rowlett and Walter Vaughn; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Rowlett; and a sister, Anna Lou McArthur.

She is survived by one son, Tony Rowlett of Grady; three sisters, Virginia Collins of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Fredia Lofland of Horatio, and Brenda Whiteman of Clearwater, Okla.; one brother, Freddie Stevens of Horatio; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Vaughn will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 15, in the Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
