Mrs. Krista Denise Lambert Ward

Mrs. Krista Denise Lambert Ward, Age 57, resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, in Hot Springs.

Krista was the daughter of Dennis and Nancy Forrest Lambert, born on March 20, 1963. She was a 1981 Graduate of Gillham High School, in Gillham, Arkansas where she met the love of her life, Bill Ward. They married June 20, 1980, and had two beautiful children, Brandon and Kandice Ward.

Krista developed a love for Insurance and worked for Farm Bureau and State Farm in De Queen, Arkansas. Her real passion was caring for others and had the opportunity to move to Hot Springs and work at the Caring Place where she made a difference is the lives of elderly. She established her own Private Care business called Care Companions in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She went over and above for her clients making sure they felt beautiful and loved. She was a Christian and loved the Lord and shared her testimonies when she saw someone struggling with Faith.

Krista had a passion for cooking. If you asked her for the recipe, she would tell you the first ingredient was as much love as you can put in it. If you didn’t do that, it just wasn’t going to taste right. 

She went over and above sharing love with others. People she knew and perfect strangers. She kept umbrellas in her car to give someone on a rainy day, a purse full of candy to share if she was waiting in line, would pay for someone’s groceries if they looked in need. Her goal was to make someone smile daily.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Nancy Lambert and her half sister Rose Busby and niece Sherri Busby.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Bill Ward of Hot Springs, Arkansas, her children Brandon and Kandice Ward of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Her Niece’s,  Lela Chapman and  Dennise Burgess and  nephew Mitch Wade. The absolute loves of her life and her grandchildren, Bailey Ward of De Queen, Arkansas and Payzlee Ward of Hot Springs, Arkansas, her best friend she called sister, Debi Lee of De Queen, Arkansas, family members and so many dear friends to count.

A memorial service for Krista will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2020, at the De Queen Lake Overlook with Steve Chenoweth officiating. A come and go visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 21st at the funeral home in De Queen. Cremation arrangements by Wilkerson Funeral Home.
