Ronald A. Long

Ronald Alan Long, age 69, a resident of De Queen, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at his home.

He was born December 17, 1949, in De Queen. He was retired from Weyerhaeuser.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Alexander and Lana Joaquin Ray Long; one son, Chance Long; and his former wife, Sheila Linville.

Survivors include two daughters, Melody Gray of Little Rock and Paige Shields of Houston, Texas; one sister, Kay Emerson of Taylor; two grandsons, one granddaughter; one niece and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen with Cheryl Nelson and Timothy Smallwood officiating. Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the funeral home.
