HOT SPRINGS — Both Horatio teams finished in 21st place in the 1A-2A classification state cross country meet at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs Nov. 2.

Senior Girls

The Horatio girls had 489 points.

The best finish for either Horatio team was by Laiken Emerson who was 44th in a time of 25:27.1.

Stevieah Turner ran 27:40.7 to finish 77th. Gracie Shelton-Hill timed 31:12.5 for 113th place. Natalie Muchacho was 127th in 33:25.6 and Nayecia Oliver 128th in 34:07.1.

Senior Boys

The Horatio boys team finished with 556 points.

The first Lion was Victor Enriquez-Silva who timed for 22:22.5 89th.

Mathew Wray was 115th in 23:31.6 and Wyatt Nelson 116th in 23:33.5.

Nathan Hudson Horatio timed 23:34.9 for 118th and Isac Herrera 23:42.7 for 120th.

Peyton Allen finished 136th in 24:29.9 and Korey Cunningham 143rd in 24:48.9.
