Legacy Academy’s Warriors traveled to Hope last Tuesday night for away games against Garrett Memorial Christian School. Legacy’s junior girls fell to Garrett Memorial, 28-22, in a close opening game. Oaklee Lofton scored 9 for the junior Lady Warriors, while Lily Tucker secured 8 points for the team. Hadley Dixon led the team with 8 rebounds and Rayne McDonald secured 7. The Senior Lady Warriors, in their first season of play, also lost their game on the road, suffering a tough loss of 74-26 by the Lady Saints' undefeated team. 
The Lockesburg’s senior boys team defeated the Hope team 62-57 in a spectacular showing. Sophomore Ethan Gallagher put up 37 points for the home team, a personal and school record. Freshman Zane Minton scored 20 points for the Warriors. Gallagher lead the team in rebounds, grabbing 15 boards for the Warriors. Jade Bivins crashed the board to deliver 12 rebounds, with Minton and Makade Bivins both securing 5 each. It was a big win for the young team.
