It was an old time defensive struggle with only one scoring play in the game. Unfortunately for Horatio, that play was made by Fouke. The Lions suffered a season ending 6-0 loss to the visiting Panthers Nov. 1.
The only points in the contest came when Blake Uncel caught a 42 yard scoring pass from Hunter Lansdell with 1:30 to go before the half.
Not only points, but any type of gain was hard to come by. Horatio had only 100 yards of total offense and Fouke 150. The Lions got theirs mostly on the ground with 84 rushing yards. The visitors got their through the air with 89 passing yards.
Hunter Griffin led Horatio with 35 yards on six carries. Trey Pickett had 21 on nine attempts. Kelton Turner ran seven times for 18 yards and Parker Rowe six times for 10.
Rowe caught a pass from Pickett for four yards. Pickett caught a pass from Lane Moya for 12 yards.
On defense Rowe made three solo stops.
Matthew Martinez had one solo and three assists. Michael Hallmark had two solo and one assist.
Peydon Emerson and Wyatt Lindsey each made two solo stops.
Turner had one solo and one assist. Moya made one solo.
Pickett had two assists. Manuel Hernandez, Victor Enriquez, Connor Barron, Gabe Stephens and Donovan Martin each had one assist.
