The Lions struggled to find the end zone Friday night. 

Horatio closed out its home season with a 36-6 loss to Centerpoint Nov. 1.

The visitors were led by Houston Way who scored four touchdowns. CHS took a 12 point lead in the first period and led 19-0 before the Lions scored.

Wyatt Marshall caught a 45 yard touchdown pass from Lane Moya in the third quarter to cut the gap to 19-6. However CHS put up another touchdown in the third and added a final TD and a field goal in the fourth.

Marshall caught five passes for 135 yards. Carson McKiever had three catches for 58 yards. Landon Rowe made one reception for 35 yards and Connor Barron one for three.

Moya completed 10 for 39 passes for a total of 231 yards.

Rowe led the Lion defense with 12 solo tackles. Matthew Martinez had eight, Orey Chandler six and Garet Wilson four. Gabe Stephens and Barron each had three solo stops and one assist.
